Leadership Philosophy
Great leaders have the ability to integrate and balance their ability to be visionaries with their passion to serve and be relevant to the needs of others. They dont have to make use of the awarded power of their positions to mobilize people through various transactions. Their influence arises from the authentic way in which they inspire people with vision as well as with their ability to connect at the interpersonal level. Their authenticity is visible in their willingness to be open, transparent and to learn and grow. Since they believe in the possibility to continuously unlock latent potential in themselves as much as they know it can be unlocked in others, their leadership is transformational in nature. Their power to transform comes from their intention and ability to be holistic in the way they view people and the organisation as well as their intention and ability to create new meaning with and through others.
Since a human being is body, mind and spirit leaders need to provide functional, intellectual and spiritual leadership. Since organisations are only effective when people work towards a common purpose and only if that purpose is useful to society, leaders need to create internal alignment in the organisation and external alignment with the environment.
